The Teddy Bear Song

We were built to fall apart after a little while.

In a room of random parts and bits of yellow tile.

We held together, with scraps of tape and glue.

We were built to fall apart after a while.

You said no one wants to look after a broken toy.

A couple months went by and you became a real boy.

But I still had splinters, and i couldn't run as fast.

And you didn't want a broken toy.

The lights are low, my nights are cold, without him by my side.

The world is such an ugly place, without him by my side.

They stitched me up at three AM I finally had a place.

Wore a pretty dress that they had finished off with lace.

Sat in the window, and watched the world go by.

They stitched me up at three AM.

He came by in tears I barely recognised his face.

Tapped on the window and said: "Dear I mede a huge mistake."

And he'd brought some tea, tea fixes everything.

And everything was fine again.

The lights lit up the night was warm, when he was by my side.

The world was such a pretty place, when he was by my side.

Hand in had he never let me be alone again.

Stitched together, so wherever I would go he went.

And we've been joined, every day since then.

Never let me be alone again.
